I start each Early Kindergarten through Second Grade class on the floor for a daily meeting. It is my belief that carpets produce a comfortable place for teachers and students to expand their learning experiences. Building a comfortable learning community within my classroom is very important to me. I feel that a classroom carpet would help build this learning community. It can also help to create a special spot for each student to sit. Adding this bright and colorful carpet to the computer lab will not only create a warm and welcoming learning environment, but add a little comfort to our students while they are sitting during our meeting time. In addition to classroom carpet, computer lab decor accents will be able to be added.
