My students are engaged in their school environment and love to learn. They explore ideas, perform research and love to read in the library media center. However, the media center is trying to increase students' access to technology, so they can be a part of the 21st century learning environment. In fact, the students at my school have limited access to technology in comparison to their peers from other surrounding schools; this is a direct result from their limited access to the technology in our media center. It is my mission to improve this deficit and make sure that my students (K-5) have the access to technology that they need in order to be as successful in middle school as their peers from the other elementary schools.
