Most pencils are not kid friendly! My students will use these pencils from Paper Mate (sold on Amazon) during our literacy and writing blocks as they improve their handwriting and story telling skills. Often, writing is interrupted by pencils breaking or students struggling to hold a pencil properly. Paper Mate pencils are GREAT, they are thick, allow control of the pencil, and the lead rarely breaks. Writing can be difficult for many students, these pencils will take away some of the difficulty as they develop some important skills. Please support my students by helping me provide with them with quality materials!
