Our school has relocated twice this school year after Hurricane Harvey and we are trying to organize our classroom books and reading materials so that students can use them efficiently and effectively. Due to lack of storage and shelf space, the students' books and reading materials are being stored in cardboard boxes in a small storage room at school. Additional materials are being stored in my garage at home and rotated at school, due to lack of shelf space. We are in need of a place to organize and display our materials. Students need easy access to leveled books so they can locate and read books on their instructional level. With the correct storage space and shelves, our materials and books will be easier to locate, and that means MORE TIME READING for my students! With your support, I will make it my mission to make reading materials accessible and storage space student friendly to stimulate a love of reading every time a student steps into my classroom. I'm confident that with the correct storage and organization I can create a classroom culture where students flourish, thrive and have meaningful experiences.
