Some of these items with help with creating hands on science experiments. Learning hands-on is shown to help students retain new information. Some of the items will help with critical thinking skills by doing STEM activities or group work. Learning to work in a group is something hard to do online. Students need social interaction and need to learn how to communicate their thoughts in a safe environment. Co-vid has made it difficult for students to have authentic experiences because of not being able to be in the classroom. Now that we are able to be in person these items will help facilitate a better learning experience. The headphones with built in microphones give educational support so they can complete writing assignments by speaking it. Getting their thoughts and feelings out of their brains and onto the paper (google doc) will help lessen frustration and let them have a feeling of success which it good for their mental health.
