The resources that I chose for my project are all in an effort to ensure that my students can perform at their highest level with all that they need. I want to ensure that my students have things in place to not only keep them on level but to capture their interest and help make learning fun. All second-grade students at my school district are required to pass the High-Frequency Word or Sight Word Evaluation. I requested the 3 pack of Sight Word Bingo so that they can learn their words and have fun also. This collection of bingo games covers all the words that my students are required to know in order to pass their test. Writing Process folders will also play a huge role in my students success. I will be able to show them the correct process to follow when writing. They will learn the importance of following the process to ensure success. Finally, the Fire 7 tablets and protective cases will ensure that my students have access to technology. Technology plays a very important role in student learning. My students will be able to have access to so many beneficial online learning programs by receiving these tablets. The tablets will not only assist with whole group learning but enhance interventions as well. The Write and Wipe pockets are needed to help with our intervention and literacy/math centers. Students can work on worksheets and once they finish they can simply clean off the pockets. High-Interest Intervention Reading Folders are very essential for my classroom. I will ensure that these folders are used for small group intervention. I want to make sure that my students are below level have resources in place to assist them with getting on level.
