The thirty-five students on this track and field team all have different problems in their life but they come together as one team on the track. They attend a school where over ninety-five percent of the students receive free or reduced price lunch. Obstacles such as drugs, violence and broken families are a common. Every year we struggle just to have kids in the proper running shoes. Despite these obstacles, they have become a winning team and one to be reckoned with. They have good hearts and the will and drive to become the best student-athlete.

About my class
