I have the honor of teaching first grade students and watching them blossom as they learn. I work diligently to meet the needs of a 21st Century Learner. The first standards are rigorous and demanding with the expectation of students reading and writing independently. My students are hardworking and continue to persevere as they meet the challenges set before them. However, this is not an easy task as my students come from many diverse families. The students face countless challenges and more than half our school population is classified as free and reduced lunch. Due to the horrific financial cuts in public education I'm seeking the help of generous donors to fun our class project. When you donate to our project my students are winners and will be successful.
