As a special education and co-taught teacher, differentiation is key, when you teach a class with a wide range of abilities. The addition of Kindle Fire Tablets will help address the needs of my diverse group of learners, which include students with ADHD, math deficiencies, and behavioral and emotional disabilities. Tablets are amazing devices that help capture students' attention and allow them to focus on challenging learning tasks, without the pressure of their disabilities. I want my students to be confident in their mathematical abilities, and the Kindle Fire Tablet will help them improve. The Kindle Fire Tablets will be used by students, for remediation purposes, so they can use sites such as IXL and Khan Academy, which will help them to retain and practice skills. The tablets will also allow my students to explore math by participating and creating webquest. Another use for the tablets would be to engage my students in review material by using the tablets for Kahoots ,Quizizz, and Plickers. These are just a few examples for what these tablets can do for my class. The cases will be used to protect the tablets, since this is a class set and the charging station will be used to keep the tablets charged and ready to use.
