Room 807 is full of many unique personalities that light up our classroom. Nonetheless, these unique and passionate 6th graders come to school each day ready to learn but are constantly asking to sit anywhere but their desks when it comes learning. Just to stay engaged, I have found they love to stand, sit and lay on the carpet, and are often found rocking their chairs, which can be very unsafe. I would like the opportunity to offer them flexible seating options that will make them more comfortable while they are learning. A comfortable learning environment will lead to more student engagement, which means more student success!
