A day filled with joy and a love of learning is the hope for each child in my class. Including appropriate activities for these incredible super second graders helps with this goal. My students thrive in an environment with activities that spark their interest, increase their ability to be involved and included. During whole group, when my students are engaging in a math lesson, the rolling cart can be easily moved around the room for my students to access the math manipulatively safely. Cushion stools would give our students a comfortable place during our small group lessons. The language arts materials with the mini white boards will help support active, hands on experience to help make connections for learning. Children love reading exciting new books. The individual floor cushions will give teach child a safe space to read their story beyond just reading at their desk.
