Help students take charge of their learning. There are many resources out there for which people can gain their knowledge. The skill of using the knowledge once it is required is something that needs to be learned. Most of today's youth have been exposed to technology since they were babies but very few of them know how to take the technology and use it to their personal benefit as a student or in their future carriers. There are many digital resources that teachers can use to help them in this endeavor but for many students, their only technology is a cell phone. A cell phone though convenient has very limited capabilities when it comes to virtual resources. This desktop in the classroom will allow those students access to thousands of resources to help them in their quest to effectively and efficiently use technology to gain classroom knowledge as well as digital literacy that will help them throughout their personal and professional lives.
