THS is a Title 1 school. Low income across the district. We have made great strides in the few years we have been open. As the newest member of the Hemet Unified School District, our A-G requirement pass rate is the highest, our 9th grade students are achieving at a 23% higher rate than the rest of our school and a 12% higher rate than that of the district's 9th grade population. This is solely due to a new program that has been implemented this year. Yet proving when appropriate change occurs, so does the desired results. Our staff involved with change is a dedicated group of professionals. The Honors block of 9th graders refer to the Math, Science, and English teachers as their other set of parents. We encourage and promote the grades and study habits throughout all courses and not just our specialty. We ask students about outside assignments. We conference students about all grades and promote all courses of study. Our students absolutely appreciate this connectives to their world.
