It gives them the courage to take risks and try new things because they know that every experience, even one that ends without success, is both an opportunity discover something new and an invitation to keep going. I teach in a small, rural community nestled within the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in southwest Montana. I teach science to over 60 5th graders as well as writing and social studies to the students in my homeroom. My students are adventurous and wildly curious. They are always eager to try new things and learn about the world around them. It's my hope to foster their sense of wonder through hands-on projects and meaningful experiences.
