I have the best students in my 7th and 8th grade class. They are full of energy and excited to learn math every day. They enjoy getting creative and changing things up by doing class activities and projects. They are a pretty diverse group of kids with different backgrounds and cultures. My kids have the potential to be amazing when they grow up; they just need the extra resources and tools to accomplish this! My school is an incredible charter school that cares about the students and teachers. While they ensure the kids receive the necessary materials, we need some help ensuring students get extra resources that will let them have a more hands-on experience. When my students enter the room, I want them to be encouraged to strive for their best and to continue to be enthusiastic and happy with STEM related projects. I want to foster a love for math that students will use in their everyday lives.
