In our K-4 school of just under 500 students, 74% identify as Hispanic, most of whom are English language learners. Additionally, 49% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. While they face daily challenges, our students are hard-working and dedicated to their learning! The real deal: My second grade students are amazing children. They are such a loving, kind, and supportive group of kids. We are a family. Also, my students are motivated and enthusiastic about learning. We have so much fun together. These students show perseverance every day by working hard, putting in the effort and knowing it's okay to ask for help when they need it. They rock!!
