Because my students have varying reading abilities, we run book clubs to help students of all skill levels discuss their novels. It helps strong readers step out of their typical reading genres, and struggling readers find deeper meaning. Every student brings a unique perspective to discussions which deepens the reading experience. Our young people need opportunities to find connections to other times, other people, and other places through words. Each of these novel titles present unique conflicts which the main characters make difficult decisions impacting the rest of their lives. The purchase of these novels will replenish and complete out classroom library. Thank you!
