I teach a class full of energetic, inquisitive ELL 2nd graders in a small Texas town, in a high needs community. Despite living in a low socioeconomic area where their parents struggle to make ends meet, they are incredibly hopeful and looking forward to the future. Their parents want the best education possible for them but due to financial constraints, many cannot afford to have books or technology such as computers or iPads at home. It is up to me and the school to provide these wonderful kids with a wide variety of learning tools. We are presently trying to integrate technology in all subject areas at our school. My goal is to get technology into the hands of all of my students.

About my class
