My students have special needs and require a lot of modeling and practice to master a skill. Distance learning has made it difficult for the kids to clearly see me model and practice skills together. This document camera will provide high-resolution images in real-time! I will be able to model and provide guided practice in a way that is closer to the interaction that they would receive if we were face-to-face. I will be able to share images of reading passages, practice sheets, game pieces, manipulatives, magnets, and so much more. This will make learning more fun, relative, and personal for my students. I look forward to being able to engage with the students, model concepts for them, and provide guided instruction that will help them become amazing readers, writers, and mathematicians.
