Thank you for your consideration in funding projects for my students! I am a third-year teacher, and I work in a first grade classroom made up of native Spanish-speaking students with the goal of transitioning them to mainstream English-speaking classes by third grade. We learn reading and writing in Spanish, while math, science, and social studies are in English. These unique circumstances pose unique material needs as students work in two languages. Once again, thank you for your support, and I look forward to working together to make the learning experience engaging and effective for my first graders!
