These books will continue to enhance our love for reading. This school year, we have been focused on reading books that we are interested in, in order to keep us motivated. My students have learned the importance of building a reading life in the classroom and also at home. These are all books that my students request on a daily basis. Our school library only has a handful of copies and as you may guess, the books are hard to come by. It would be a joy to be able to have them in the classroom for our daily reader's workshop time. We have decided as a class that the first Harry Potter book would be perfect for a read aloud option for home. They feel that this book will create that space for families to read together at home, building a reading life at home! Please help us achieve the classroom library of our dreams and provide us the opportunity to build a reading life at home with their favorite book.
