The benefit of using individual headphones for listening activities rather than whole class listening activities is that students may stop, rewind, and proceed at their own pace while navigating the podcast/video lessons in their own pace. By providing these supplies for my students, I am able to keep the Spanish language flowing in the classroom and meeting individual needs. I will have a classroom set of headphones that students could use and which will ensure that students can participate in this important language learning acquisition effort, without distractions, and successfully pass the listening portion of the IB and AP Spanish Language Exam.
