In my classroom, students are learning how to read in two languages Spanish and English in second grade. The majority of my class is reading at grade level, but we do not have enough books for them to read independently. These books would be very useful for them as it would give them more books to read. Their reading buddy would also be reading these books to my class. As for myself, I find myself constantly buying books to supplement language arts units. These books would be used for independent reading and instructional purposes. My students would be so excited to know that they will have more books to read.
