Flexible Seating will allow my third grade class to move as they learn without being a disruption. The items I am wanting are wobble chairs, balance ball chairs, balance discs for their chairs, and floor seats. These require the kids to balance while they sit, which will help their focus. The floor seats would also allow them to work comfortably on the floor. These seats make students engage their core muscles, which has been proven to increase focus and learning. They also allow the kids to have a choice of where they work. This will provide motivation to the students as well. These will be used for several years to come and could change the way child thinks about learning.
