STEM is a huge part of our school’s curriculum, especially incorporating more young women into the field. I am requesting an Apple iPad Air and Apple Pencil for these young ladies to use in our STEM class. Having an Apple iPad Air will make sure these young ladies will have the updated technology to help them reach their goals. In STEM classes, modeling is essential. Students need to be able to see how problems are solved online. If you have ever tried to draw with a trackpad or mouse, you understand how difficult it can be to draw graphs and write formulas on a compute. An Apple iPad Air and Apple Pencil will allow me to model free body diagrams, interactive graphs, and problem-solving techniques. This will greatly help my students to be successful in their STEM classes. When we resume face-to-face learning, students will use the Apple iPad Air and Apple Pencil to design experiments, collect data, and present their results. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus during virtual learning, you will ultimately help increase their academic achievement and understanding in mathematics. This will help my students become lifelong learners. Thank you for considering supporting our young ladies in STEM through this project!
