Our band is a growing, competitive band program in the suburban Orlando area. Our school has around 2,000 students, and we get students from two different middle schools. The students who attend our program come from all demographics, and around 70% of our students come from low-income families. Our students are polite, hard-working, good people who could use a hand from generous donors like you. Our school system does not fund the arts to supply our students with what we need in our classrooms. We receive less than 10% of the needed funds to operate our band program from our school district. With the rising cost of musical instruments, travel, infrastructure, and other expenses, it is becoming increasingly more difficult each year to supply our students with the support they need to truly be successful. I want nothing more than for my students to reach their full potential, so please consider helping!
