I have the privilege of teaching 24 incredible students who bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom every day—there is never a dull moment. They are happy, engaged learners who know they are the reason I am here. They are eager to learn, curious, and love hands-on projects, working in groups, and sharing ideas. They enjoy using technology and especially love exploring math together. They also love read-alouds and chapter books. So far, we have enjoyed Charlotte’s Web, The One and Only Ivan, and Because of Winn-Dixie, which have deepened their love of reading. Each student is unique, and since we have been together from the very first day of school, we have built a strong, supportive classroom community. They are truly becoming lifelong learners.
