The materials will be used in a 5th grade classroom where students are reading below grade level. This school year, my students have the desire to read chapter books. This specific book series is very appealing to them as they are able to actually read a real chapter book that isn't for little kids. We will be using this books daily the entire school year as a read aloud. As a special education teacher at my school, it is my job to provide a high-quality education and instill the pedagogy of confidence for all learners to succeed in Corporate America. How can you succeed in Corporate America without the necessary basic reading skills? In the end, I have whatever it takes to be an inspiring special education teacher that proudly serves my community.
