I work at a Title 1 school. As a strong community, we are working together to help our children learn. One of the most important ways to gain literacy is through reading. However, books are often thought of as a luxury, and are often lax in most homes. Many of our kids come from struggling families. It is a struggle for them to put food on the table, let alone provide additional resources for their children. These donated books will give each child the gift of literacy.
