Students in the library are enthusiastic about learning and exploring their world. They learn through hands-on activities and soak up learning about everything, from dinosaurs and Dr. Seuss to astronauts and firefighters. We spend our days singing and dancing as we learn. They love to explore using hands-on activities to make and read words. We act out our math problems. Our students come from a very diverse community. Some speak other languages at home. Some struggle economically. Some are even homeless. But they all come to school eager to learn everything they can! And I have never worked a day at teaching-it does not feel like a job to me.
