Over half of my students are ESL learners and oral language development is a daily focus. My goal each day is to expose my students to oral language in a variety of settings across each subject content. I utilize technology on a daily basis to achieve this goal. My ESL students need headphones that work properly so they can hear the correct pronunciation of the sight words, stories and math programs that will help enrich and build their oral and academic language. I teach my students that every item has a place and that we have to keep our areas neat. The book bins will help to keep the many books that they love to read organized. The storage caddies and pencil boxes will really be helpful to replace the current ones that have endured a lot of wear and tear so the students workbooks, crayons, pencils, etc. will be kept nice and neat. Finally, we are in desperate need of pencil sharpener that does not over heat and will sharpen pencils evenly. Your generosity will positively impact my students oral language development, help to keep our classroom in an orderly fashion and keep the learning environment fun, upbeat and thriving!!
