Writers, readers, leaders. I prefer to call them "learners." The learners I surround myself with each day never cease to amaze me as their eagerness to grow and succeed increase even more. My learners are no strangers to challenge and adversity. They do not shy away from something that is difficult or unknown. My learners know what it means to persevere and work hard each and every day to reach mastery - to be the leaders of their own future. I teach an inclusive, diverse, inspirational group of 6th graders each day that strive to become better through hard work, teamwork, and resiliency.
