Making a meaningful difference in a child’s early years starts with empowering the family around them. As a Birth to Three Special Education Teacher, I work in families’ homes to support young children with developmental delays or disabilities and help them build important skills for learning, communicating, and growing. I partner with parents and caregivers to understand their child’s unique strengths and needs. Through coaching, modeling, and hands-on support, I teach practical strategies that families can use during everyday routines and help them build a toolkit of skills to support their child’s continued development. I also connect families with community resources, medical providers, and other professionals who can help meet their child’s needs. My goal is to help families feel confident, informed, and empowered to advocate for and support their child’s growth and success.
