I am a first year kindergarten teacher in Louisiana. My students are amazing children who are incredibly enthusiastic about their education, and growing their brain! My students live in a rural parish where resources are limited. 96% of my students receive free or reduced lunch, and their school has been classified as a "school in decline." While my students have limited resources, and will face barriers to their education that other students may not, I know that they will achieve greatness.
