My students are highly motivated and love the active format of our classroom. They eagerly engage in collaborative, inquiry-based workshops, centers, projects and discussions. My students are encouraged to take risks and learn from their mistakes. We engage in activities that foster respect for each other and highlight the benefits of working together. My students come from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. Our pre-kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We are a proud community of students, educators, and parents who work together to meet the needs of all learners. Our rigorous academic program is complemented with a rich cultural arts program, courtesy of the collaborative efforts of the district arts program, the PTA and the Education Foundation.
