Having a set of Kindles will allow my students to see the world. I will be able to use these to help my English Language Learners practice reading, and they will also have the opportunity to have the stories read to them. This will help them grow as readers. Also, this will help take my general classroom to places they have never been. In a low income district, my students don't always have the same opportunities other kids may have, so I want to provide them with those opportunities through the use of technology. The kindles I am asking for will help them become better learners, keeping them engaged in the classroom as they explore.
