First Grade is the absolute best in my opinion. My students are naturally curious and are always excited to learn new things. They love to research and we use the skills we need to master for the year to help us learn more about the world around us. I teach students from all social and economic backgrounds. This allows for us to learn to work together to truly prepare students for the world they are growing into. I believe my classroom is a place where students know it is okay to make mistakes.
