Students will be taking part in a project to add encouraging quotes around our school. The possibilities are endless to where these quotes can be hung. Imagine bathroom doors with positivity quotes and quotes to help children believe that each and every one of them is amazing. Who doesn't want to feel good about themselves, or even better, make someone else feel good about themselves? What will words of encouragement do for our school community? It will help to build confidence, which in turn is one of the most important things people need in order to push through a bump in the road. Allowing students to be the ones that provide this opportunity to others, we are giving them the power to change others. The students will be the ones in charge of picking the statements and/or quotes to hang all around the school. and they will make the decision on where these positive/encouraging words are needed the most. The Cricut machine and accessories will be used to help cut out the quotes and hang them around the building. Our time together is limited, so having the machine will help add more words of encouragement than painting them on. I will just be there to help them be successful in their endeavors. The end goal to provide encouragement, which will help to make people feel good about themselves.
