"I am a Teacher affected by Hurricane Harvey." I teach 3rd Grade Math Teacher in an amazing district. Through Donors Choose, we have been able to rebuild the classroom with many things to help my students learn and become 21st Century Mathematicians. However, I have not been able to replace items lost in storm in which I personally purchased for my classroom or was given by retired teachers. Most teachers end up putting about 75% of their paycheck back into their classrooms to make them a warm, educational learning environment. My students and classroom are my passion and I have over the past 16 years accumulated items and learning materials that I just can't replace because they were purchased out of my own pocket. I want the absolute best learning environment for my students and want 110% success for each of them.
