Our school serves the students and families living on Fort Irwin, which is a national Army training center. Most of them have parents fighting for our country and therefore have a strong desire to also serve and benefit our country in some way. For many of them this will come through their education and career success. Many of our students this year have applied to and been accepted to top universities around the country. I would like to bring technology into the classroom for them to better prepare them for their futures, as many top schools now require this knowledge and understanding. Right now, because of the type of school we are, technology is limited and not readily available in the classroom, however I want to change that. I believe the students will find huge benefit to having it and it will surely prepare better them for whatever future they choose.
