The planter boxes will provide an opportunity for students to learn the basics of how home construction. Our main goal is to have the students use the greenhouse we already have to grow their own plants they can be proud of. The first step, of course, is building the place where their specific plants will be. This project will help the students understand the amount of details in everything they work at. In the planter boxes, they can do the same thing, by coordinating with each other they can come to a better understanding of what they can and can't do to grow something effective. In later stages, students will have to gauge how to fertilize their soil, what to plant based on the seasons, and collaborate who will tend to them in the stead of others as the students come and go.
