I have students who learn using a Functional Life Skills curriculum and are working on peer social interaction and communication. Many are non-verbal or have limited verbal language, making it difficult for them to communicate their wants and needs and with others at school and at home. A color printer will allow me to provide my students access to more life-like images that are easily recognizable for them. These pictures will give them a voice to communicate their wants and needs and make requests at both home and school by using a picture exchange communication system.

About my class
