My students are visual and tactile learners, having manipulatives would help them learn about science, math and other integrated curriculum. Our school is focusing on STEM education. I am a true believer in providing hands-on learning materials to help my students access their learning. The materials that are requested will support and increase their engagement. Because I am a new teacher and our school has focused so much resource on early literacy that STEM has not yet allocated funds. The students will work in small groups to construct models and design solutions. The Real World STEM and Design and Play kits will allow students to have material to explore different solutions, communicate with each other and be engaged in science. They can evaluate each other's outcomes and learn there are multiple solutions to problems. With your generous donations, I will be able to make this STEM education come to life.
