My students are future scientists and researchers who have a keen desire for learning! Being from a small community with little to no resources inspires them to want more and to do more. I was a student in this very school and I sat in the same desks they do today. Therefore, I am driven by the desire to give my students what they deserve - the BEST of me! Teaching science can be challenging, especially since many students lose their desire to study science by the time they reach high school. My ultimate goal is to expose my students to learning experiences that they will remember for a lifetime. Science, along with technology, provides a gateway that brings people of cultures together. Therefore, it is vital that I show them the strong influence science has had on my life and the influence science has on the world in general.
