As a PreK–5th Grade STEM Teacher, I create hands-on, standards-aligned learning experiences that engage students in engineering, robotics, coding, problem-solving, and real-world applications. Students explore, build, test, redesign, and reflect while developing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and perseverance. My classroom incorporates robotics, drones, 3D printing, engineering materials, plant science, sustainability, assistive technology, and other emerging technologies. I design authentic challenges that connect STEM learning to students’ lives and future careers while fostering a culture where every student can see themselves as an engineer, innovator, problem-solver, and creator. I also coach competitive robotics and provide opportunities for students to apply their skills beyond the classroom.
