These books can be used to develop their pre-reading skills at home. If I can send texts home in their family's home language, the students will have yet another reading model to listen to make connections in the language they have grown up with. The more a child can read and explore with books at home, the more they will enjoy and love to learn at school. I want them to have a favorite book that they can remember forever and share with their families.
