Hello Everyone, thank you for taking the time to look at our class Donors choose page! My name is Shawnda Phillips and I teach 2nd grade at Enos Elementary school in Springfield IL. I currently have 22 students in my classroom and all are bright, energetic, and caring kids. We enjoy reading to soft music in the morning and collaborating in table groups to earn points for our table teams! In our classroom, points are "socks" on clothespins that are awarded from the class clothesline for "Knocking my socks off." The students love to be the first team that really impressed me! I find that keeping the students engaged by having a fun and happy learning environment results in students' increased time on task and the enriching environment creates a self awareness that reinforces learning is both enjoyable and rewarding.
