    These snacks are such a great gift for our classroom. We often have students that rely on school breakfast and lunch. These snacks ensure that they have something else to munch on throughout the day. You cannot learn if you have a hungry tummy.     This new selection of board books is such a great asset to our classroom. My students enjoy new titles in the classroom while I enjoy the durability of board books and the ability to keep them in great condition! I am so excited to share all of the new books about emotions and a variety of student interests. The books about emotions will be a great supplement to our emotions unit and will help students understand a variety of emotions they may experience.   • Couch Potatoes

    This couch has been such a great addition to our classroom. It has enhanced our calm down area and made that area of our classroom so much more inviting. This area is loved by all students through out the day. Students love to get a book and get cozy or take a brain break with a sensory blanket and nice place to relax. I am so thankful for this addition to our classroom and know that my students will enjoy it all year long. Thank you for continuing to support classrooms like mine.     We are so thankful to get our new ipad and case. Having an ipad for every student in our classroom increases responsibility and independence. Students are encouraged to take care of their own ipad, making sure it is put on the charger at the end of the day. They love having their own log in and matching headphones to go with it. The ability to pick their own reinforcement on their own device during free time enhances their ability to take control of their learning. We are so excited to explore new games and activities using their ipads!”

  • Insane for iPad!

    We are so lucky to be SO close to having an iPad for every student in our classroom. Because of donors like you, we are able to individualize each iPad to each student's likes and interests. It helps with reinforcement and academic lessons. I cannot wait to get each student their own iPad and headphones to call their own. This will also give them more responsibility to make sure their iPad and headphones and in the correct spot each day. I know they will be so excited to see the new iPad in our room!”

These options of flexible seating will make a huge impact in our classroom. It will promote choice making and give students an opportunity to make decisions about their learning environment. This will not only make learning more fun and enjoyable for my students, students will have an outlet of energy (the wobble chairs and bouncy chairs should help with that) and a comfy place to calm down (with the giant pillows and bean bags). The immediate benefits of flexible seating includes burning more calories, using up excess energy, improving metabolism, increased motivation and engagement, creating a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improving core strength and overall posture.
