Hello and welcome to my Donors Choose website. My name is Sharon Barney and I have been teaching for 33 years and have loved and still love my job. Most importantly I love my students that I teach each and every year. My goal for each of my students is to be a happy learner, who loves school, feels good about themselves, and ultimately becomes a productive member of society. As I teach each year, organization is one thing I try to instill in my third graders, as well as, their parents. If we can work together and instill in each child organization, study skills, and doing all of this daily, then each child becomes closer to the goal of becoming a lifelong learner.
