My students are RESISLENT NINTH GRADERS with an ABUNDANCE of HOPE. They remained focused during this pandemic I'm honored and blessed to be their teacher. We're located in a Chicago community that has been overwhelmingly impacted by the coronavirus and social injustice. 99% of our students are African American and qualify for free or reduced lunch. Therefore, it is MY RESPONSIBILITY to expose them beyond their communities by equipping them with competencies to break down these emotional, psychological, and physical barriers.
